Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By signing in to CareerHub, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. CareerHub is operated by SCDS Club, the official student club of the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) at NTU, for the benefit of CCDS/NTU students and SCDS Club-affiliated mentors.

2. Eligibility

CareerHub is intended for current NTU students (via NTU Microsoft SSO) and mentors invited by SCDS Club to support a specific programme (e.g. ProjectHub). Access may be limited to particular schools, courses, or cohorts depending on the programme.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit (registration answers, profile details, check-in submissions) and for anything posted under your account. Student accounts authenticate solely via NTU SSO; mentor accounts sign in via a one-time link emailed by SCDS Club — don't share either with anyone else.

4. Acceptable use

• Don't impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with NTU/SCDS Club.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful, harassing, or abusive.
• Don't use Teammate Finder or the team chat to contact people outside the purpose of finding/coordinating with a teammate.
• Don't attempt to access another user's account, data, or a team/programme you're not part of.
• Don't use CareerHub to send unsolicited messages, spam, or attempt to disrupt the service.

5. Programme participation

Registering for a programme (e.g. ProjectHub) is a commitment to participate in good faith — attend check-ins, communicate with your team and mentor, and submit genuine work. SCDS Club may remove a participant or team from a programme for inactivity, policy violations, or academic integrity concerns, consistent with NTU's own policies.

6. Content you submit

You retain ownership of what you submit (project ideas, check-in notes, uploaded files). By submitting it, you give SCDS Club permission to use it for running the relevant programme — including showing it to your teammates, mentor, and committee members administering that programme, and, where a programme explicitly says so (e.g. a Demo Day showcase), sharing it with invited partners such as CAO or event attendees.

7. Mentors

External mentors participate on a voluntary basis at SCDS Club's invitation. Mentor access is scoped to the team(s) assigned to them and may be revoked by SCDS Club at any time.

8. No warranty

CareerHub is run by a student club on a best-effort basis and provided "as is," without warranty of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We'll do our best to keep it reliable, but can't guarantee it.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as CareerHub's programmes evolve. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date above.
